Inclusion
We champion environments where autistic people belong, participate, and lead with confidence.
Let’s Talk About Autism is a community-centered initiative dedicated to improving the lives of autistic people and their families.
We exist because too many families begin this journey alone — unsure of where to turn, how to access support, or how to make sense of an autism diagnosis. We believe every autistic person deserves respect, opportunity, and a world that adapts to them — not the other way around.
Through awareness programs, parent guidance, school partnerships, and practical resources, we help families build confidence and equip communities to become more inclusive.
Our approach is simple:
Listen first. Autistic voices and lived experience guide our work.
Support with dignity. Families deserve empathy, not judgment.
Share what works. We prioritize evidence-informed, practical solutions.
Grow together. Community care is stronger than individual struggle.
We are proud to serve families, educators, and advocates across Uganda and beyond, and we’re committed to building a future where autistic people can thrive as their full selves.

Let’s Talk About Autism began as a small support effort for families who needed guidance, hope, and reliable information. What started as conversations quickly grew into a community.
We launched parent workshops and peer support circles, helping families learn practical home strategies while connecting with others who understood their journey.
We partnered with schools and local leaders to promote autism awareness and better access to sensory-friendly learning and public spaces.
We introduced an online hub of guides, community updates, and service directories so families everywhere can access support without barriers.
We champion environments where autistic people belong, participate, and lead with confidence.

We listen with empathy and respond with dignity-centered support for autistic individuals and their families.

We share practical, evidence-informed resources to empower caregivers, teachers, and professionals.
We connect people to networks that foster mutual learning, encouragement, and lifelong support.
